The title refers directly to what can happen to electronic music as a whole, the irony was just to intriguing for me. Don’t forget – a while back disco was the hip way and disco clubs where the places to be – it could happen to today’s club music as well…

I felt the original song had originally the structure of a dance song – so I used it as a basis and just “finished the job” with a more “electro” sound production.

This remix has also a more brute yet hippie feel over the original song. My favorite part is the guitar solo, which I “improved” with additional filters making it double in length and much more complicated in sound than the original take.

Above all, it a mad scientist project – proof of that is the end part where I tried to simulate an actual disco mix – you don’t know how much I forced myself to produce that bit – torturing…
